Local Motion Tour

We had a great time with Teiki at Local Motion Tour! We had organised the Titaaviri Valley tour well in advance on a recommendation. Teiki was super friendly and an excellent guide. He gave a full briefing of what to expect when we met him at the start of the valley. He showed us how the e-Mountain Bikes work and suggested various settings for each of us, also provided gloves and a padded seat for my partner!It was raining the entire tour but it made the whole experience just as fun, getting wet and muddy as you should on a mountain bike instead of the usual Tahitian sunburn! The rain and clouds meant we were priveledged to see all the extra waterfalls and the clouds added so much atmosphere at the top!Teiki took the time to explain techniques and how to approach various sections on the tour. This gave us so much more confidence as relatively inexperienced off-road cyclists (I'm pretty well versed as a road cyclist) and my partner lacks in cycling in general and even she was becoming fearless towards the end! He also pointed out various information on the local flora and fauna as well as any questions we had on Tahitian/Polynesian life and culture.We stopped at a great spot for lunch (we chose to bring our own) where we could jump and swim in the 'Kings Pool' waterfall. We embraced this as we were already soaked through from the rain!We would definitely recommend doing a tour with Local Motion Tour if you're spending time in Tahiti and want to see more of the inland treasures that island holds!Hopefully we'll be lucky enough to return one day and do it again!

I highly recommend this trip. Teiki is definitely a very experimented rider and he will teach all his knowledge about riding and nature with pleasure. We had a lot of fun combined with heavy physical exertion ( because we wanted it) Teiki show us how to ride safely with some very useful tricks on his very high quality bikes. Local motion tour is a BLAST!!!

My partner and I just completed an approx 3hr cycle trail in Tahiti on e-bikes with Teiki at Local Motion Tour. We have nothing but fantastic things to say about this experience. It had all the best qualities of an active day out that one wants while on holiday: beautiful scenery featuring lush vegetation and waterfalls, adrenaline courtesy of some downhill action as well as the speed provided by the e-bikes, but importantly with the assurance of great equipment (including the provided waterproof jacket, light backpack, bike gloves and-essential to the experience—an excellent e-bike) and the confidence in our highly competent guide who ensured safety was a top priority. Top marks!

Very professional. They have plenty of gear if you need it (Fins, wetsuit, snorkel, and mask). Boat was very comfortable. Snacks included. We were lucky enough to find a momma and calf Humpback whales. We spent about 45 min in the water with them. It was one of the most incredible experiences ever!

Everything is first class - guide, instruction, equipment, lunch and the ebike tour is spectacular. Teiki is an expert guide. Learned so much about how to ride and about Tahiti. Thank you for a great experience!!
