Vahio Hike

Outstanding hike on our first day in Tahiti! Spectacular scenery (Jurassic Park meets St Lucia?).Vahio was knowledgeable about plant life, the area, and he was great company. Most importantly he kept us safe, he carried emergency equipment in a large pack and I felt very safe in his care. Belvedere Fondue Restaurant at base of trail (a handful of parking spots available, and hike starts from there) was also a great end-of-hike reward: bar, food, swimming pool!

This guide is awesome !! Highly suggest Vahio, he will bring you to the most luxuriant hidden valleys and through magnificent forests. What I loved about him is his passion for nature, and he shares it with no restrictions. He will help you reconnect to mama Earth, and bring your curiosity out so you're craving even more of nature time !!

Exploring nature with Vahio Hike has been one of the most beautiful and profound experiences for me. I felt safe and so well taken care of at all times. Connecting to Tahitian land and nature felt so natural and easy! The yummy refreshments at the end of our journey made the date complete. I can't recommend Tehau enough! ☺️✨

Tehaunui has a lot of knowledge to share with his hikers. He is patient and eager to share what he knows about his land. He is always taking care of his hikers, assuring their security and that they're having a good time. He is respectful of the land and let you immerse in nature as much as possible. I really felt connected to the earth thanks to the nose-singing flute that he played for us. I would recommend you to go with him if you want to discover nature in its simplicity and realistic life.
